Kala Bhata is a small village of 255 hectares in Hindoli Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kala Bhata depends on BUNDI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Kala Bhata is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kala Bhata's pin code is 323024[3], and village code is 02708700. The area of Kala Bhata is segregated as 161.44 hectares irrigated area, 31.85 hectares unirrigated, the 18.2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 43.39 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bundi to sell juggery and make their living.
