Kakrahiya is a small village of 106 hectares in Auraiya Tehsil in Auraiya district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kakrahiya depends on Atasu (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers,Two canals and Two springs. Kakrahiya is also surrounded byTwo lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kakrahiya's pin code is 206247[4], and village code is 04140700. The area of Kakrahiya is segregated as 71 hectares irrigated area, 22 hectares unirrigated area. the 2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 11 hectare area not available for cultivation.
