Kajoi is a small village of 1008 hectares in Pokaran Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kajoi depends on POKARAN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kajoi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Kajoi's pin code is 345025[4], and village code is 02064400. The area of Kajoi is segregated as 957 hectares unirrigated, the 29 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 22 hectare area not available for cultivation.
