Kaique Pereira Azarias (born 16 April 2003), also known as Kaique Azarias or simply Kaique, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Palmeiras.[1][2]
Career
Winner of several tournaments for SE Palmeiras in the youth sectors, Kaique gained greater prominence when playing for Brazil U20, being part of the campaign of 2023 South American U-20 Championship conquest.[3][4] Starter in the match against Colombia on 9 February, saved a penalty taken by Gustavo Puerta.[5] Appeared two more times during the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup, after Mycael injury.[6]
On July 2023, Kaique was promoted to the main squad of Palmeiras after the transation of Vinícius Silvestre with Portimonense.[7]
