Kai Zhou (Chinese: 周凯; born 1995 in Wenzhou, China) is a Chinese entrepreneur and financier,is currently the Chairman of Huatong Financial Group. He has led the deep integration of financial technology with traditional business, driving the digital and intelligent transformation of the brokerage industry. He pioneered the "Brokerage Cloud" service model, establishing himself as a trailblazer in Hong Kong's fintech sector. On April 1, 2025, Huatong Financial Group successfully went public on the NASDAQ.[1][2][3]

Zhou Kai began his career in Shenzhen's investment industry, specializing in asset-side investment analysis, where he reviewed extensive industry and financial reports daily.

During his tenure, he proactively collaborated with the company's IT engineers to participate in mobile application development, gaining insights into the digital transformation needs of financial institutions. This experience shaped his core philosophy: "The essence of fintech lies in understanding finance."

Recognizing the fintech trend, Zhou Kai left the traditional financial sector to establish a company focused on providing technology services to financial institutions. Thanks to his sharp industry acumen and interdisciplinary expertise in "Finance + Technology," the company quickly gained market recognition.

In 2021, Zhou Kai acquired Huatong Securities International, a well-established Hong Kong brokerage. Initially aiming to "recreate a Futu," he spearheaded its internet-based upgrade, optimizing the app's interface and functionality.[4]
