History

In 2020, Varun Suchday, a traveler came across this peaceful location. Later, he entered a contest sponsored by The New York Times about unknown destinations for a chance to win. He got a response a month later stating that Kadiya Dhro had been chosen. The stone arrangements framed through times of openness to solid breeze and stream seen at the area are alluded to herders as "kotaro" in the neighborhood Kutchi language. A magnificent spot for trekking, the site is tranquil and calming and is among the couple of spots in the district still untouched by travel lovers.

How to reach

Kaliya Dhro is about 35-40 kilometers away from Kodki Village from Bhuj. By air, rail, and road, Bhuj is well connected. There are numerous domestic flights from major Indian cities from the 4 km long Bhuj airport. From the airport, there are state and private buses that connect all of Gujarat's major cities.
