Kacholiya is a small village of 1291 hectares in Tonk Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kacholiya depends on Malpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kacholiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kacholiya's pin code is 304001[4], and village code is 02591800. The area of Kacholiya is segregated as 137 hectares irrigated area, 904 hectares unirrigated, the 152 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 98 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kacholiya has One post office (Sonwa B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Kacholiya has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Kacholiya is a census village in the district of Tonk, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1798 and has total administration over 335 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Malpura and Tonk to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
