Kachnariya Kalan is a small village of 851 hectares in Chhipabarod Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kachnariya Kalan depends on Chhipabarod, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 2.44% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kachnariya Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Kachnariya Kalan's pin code is 325221[4], and village code is 03973200. The area of Kachnariya Kalan is segregated as 146.76 hectares irrigated area, 22.56 hectares unirrigated, the 32.28 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 30.32 hectare area not available for cultivation.
