Kachnariya is a small village of 790 hectares in Hindoli Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kachnariya depends on BUNDI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 60.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kachnariya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kachnariya's pin code is 323024[3], and village code is 02699300. The area of Kachnariya is segregated as 60 hectares irrigated area, 130 hectares unirrigated, the 70 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 180 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kachnariya is a census village in the district of Bundi, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1045 and has total administration over 216 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bundi to sell juggary and make their living.
