Sheikh Kabir Ahmad Azare was born on 11 February 1960 in Azare town of Katagum Local Government, Bauchi State and died on 27th of April 2023[1].
VOCATIONAL EDUCATION
Sheikh Kabir Azare attended elementary school in Azare town, he then moved to Katagun of Zaki Local Government for his secondary school education. Afterwards, he attended Aminu Kano School for Legal and Islamic Studies Misau for his post-secondary school education. He grew up with love and passion for knowledge and acquiring it.

Sheikh Kabir Ahmad Azare is a great Islamic Scholar who followed the Sunni teaching till his death[2]. He was the Chairman of Council of Ulama' of JIBWIS Katagum Zone. He memorized the Holy Quran with Malam Baban Ma'ruf. He then studied the explanation of the Holy Quran with Malam Ɗan Gambo, the cousin of Sheikh Nasiru Kabara, who also gave him permission to translate the Quran any time and any place he found himself. He studied Fiqhu, Lugha, Usulul Fiqhi and Hadith the late Sheikh Isah Tsoma, Sheikh Umar Zubair, Sheikh Nura Ƙofar Ruwa Kano and other great islamic scholars from Kano. He studied Nahwu with Sheikh Abdulkarim Tahir, (Chief Imam Kitabu Was-Sunnah Masjid Azare) as well as Late Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Bamba (Dr. Ahamd BUK)<ref>
