Jyani is a small village of 869 hectares in Jayal Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jyani depends on Nagaur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jyani is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Jyani's pin code is 341023[4], and village code is 01792900. The area of Jyani is segregated as 683.76 hectares unirrigated, the 163.56 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 21.96 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nagaur to sell ghee and make their living.
