Juwairiya Zulkifli (Jawi: الجويرية ذو الكفل; born 6 July 1985) is a Malaysian politician. She was born in Hulu Kelang and the only daughter of the late Zulkifli Bin Ahmad (the grandson of Muhammad Jabbar, founder of Sekolah Kebangsaan Muhammad Jabbar, Dong, Raub, Pahang ( https://ms.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Sekolah_Kebangsaan_Muhammad_Jabar&oldid=1992968 ) who passed away on th 16 March 2020 and wife, Norliah Binti Yusoff, from Kampung Bukit Badong, Ijok. She is current Selangor State Assemblymen of Bukit Melawati representing the People's Justice Party (PKR), a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) opposition coalition. She has also served as the Women Secretary of PKR from 2010 until 2015 and was elected as the National Women Leadership Committee for three consecutive term since 2010 until now. She is a member of Pertubuhan Ikram Malaysia (IKRAM Ampang Jaya) since 2012.
Education
Juwairiya has a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Bangi. She graduated in 2007.
Career
She has completed practical training at Idwal Systems Sdn Bhd, in the System Development Department from July till December 2006. Received training in system development and programming using CA Visual Object and Microsoft SQL Server 2003, working with Pertubuhan Jamaah Islah Malaysia Head Office (JIM), Hulu Kelang as Assistant Accountant until early January 2008, working as Personal Assistant to Member of Parliament of Kuantan, YB Puan Hajah Fuziah Salleh for one year since 2008, March 2009 till July 2010 worked as a Parliamentary Researcher at KEADILAN Parliamentary Research Unit (KPRU) under Parti Keadilan Rakyat (KEADILAN), training programs on leadership, politics, advocating democracy, empowering women and election such as The Asian Renaissance 4.0 in Manila, Philippines organized by Institute of Policy Research (IKD) and The Sasakawa Foundation in January 2010, School of Politics by Institute of Policy Research (IKD) in January 2010 till June 2010 also several training by Friedrich Neumann Foundation (FNF) and International Republican Institute (IRI). Worked as Secretary to Member of Parliament of Gombak and Bukit Antarabangsa State Assemblyman, YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Bin Ali, from January 2012 untill June 2013 assisting Member of Parliament of Ampang, YB Puan Hajah Zuraida Binti Kamaruddin in preparing her Parliament speech. She has also served as Policy Officer for YB Puan Dr. Daroyah Alwi, the Exco member of Selangor State Government under the portfolio of Health, Welfare, Family and Women’s Affairs. She is now an elected Selangor State Assemblym
