Justin Bursch is a seasoned Hollywood producer with a career spanning over two decades, during which he has contributed to the production and oversight of more than 50 films and multiple television series.[1]

Career

Since beginning a career as a stuntman, Bursch has since gone on to produce a wide array of genres and formats, ranging from high and low-budget action movies to prominent intellectual properties, large and small-scale animation, Broadway Live-Capture, art house dramas, and festival darlings, among others. Bursch's global footprint extends to various filming locations, including Canada, Hong Kong, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, China, South Korea, Ireland, and beyond. As of 2023, the cumulative worldwide box office earnings of films associated with him have exceeded $500 million.

Biography

Born and raised, Bursch graduated from Joel E. Ferris High School in Spokane, Washington, in 2001. During his high school years, he excelled both as the varsity quarterback and the varsity point guard. This athletic prowess earned him a full scholarship to play on the Men's Basketball Team at Central Washington University from 1997 to 2001, where he also served as the team captain.

Beyond his achievements in the entertainment industry, Bursch demonstrated versatility in various fields. He showcased skills as an accomplished mountaineer, held certifications as a PADI and NAUI Rescue Scuba Diver, mastered precision driving, obtained FAA Pilot Certification, and ventured into entrepreneurship.

In 2021, he married his wife Kristina. The couple, along with their daughter, reside in Southern California.

Blue Marble Exploration

In 2017, Bursch co-founded Blue Marble Exploration[2] alongside Guillermo Sohlein[3] and Scott Parazynski. The company's mission is advancing human exploration in deep-sea environments, high altitudes, and outer space.
