Jura is a small village of 252 hectares in Dungarpur Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jura depends on Dungarpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 5.97% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Jura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jura's pin code is 314404[4], and village code is 03309400. The area of Jura is segregated as 45.8 hectares irrigated area, 66.51 hectares unirrigated, the 96.54 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 43.22 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Jura is a census village in the district of Dungarpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1188 and has total administration over 223 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dungarpur to sell ghee and make their living.
