Julie Leopold Alf (born 1971) is a Danish businesswoman, entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of Enter Art Fair, Scandinavia’s largest art fair dedicated to international and contemporary art. [1] [2] [3] [4]

Career and background

Julie Leopold Alf was born in Charlottenlund and graduated from Gammel Hellerup Gymnasium in 1990. She obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration and Commercial Law (Cand.Merc.jur.) from Copenhagen Business School in 1998.[5][6] She started her career in sales at Spies Rejser, and went on to organize large-scale lifestyle and hospitality events at Forum including BogForum, Alt for Damernes livsstilsmesse, Bedre Bolig and Designer Forum. In 2014 she initiated and launched Code Art Fair at Bella Centret.[7][8]

In 2019, she founded Enter Art Fair which has become Scandinavia’s largest international art fair.[9][10] The annual event takes place in August and is located at Lokomotivværkstedet. Attracting over 20.000 visitors, the 2022 edition included more than 78 galleries from 23 countries and over 350 artists were represented.[11] The fair is backed by Danish investor Lars Seier Christensen among others and has since its inception had a strong focus on digital art and new ways to experience and acquire art.[12][13]

Julie Leopold Alf was in 2019 recognized with the ‘Gold Woman Award’ by lifestyle magazine Femina.[14]

She has three children with her first husband Sebastian Arnstedt, and is married to Danish gallerist Hans Alf.[15]
