Julian Kershaw is an experienced English classically trained musician working as a composer, orchestrator, conductor and arranger in film, TV, albums and live music.
His many film orchestral and arrangement credits include Notting Hill, The Last King of Scotland, Layer Cake, Stardust, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Sweeney Todd, Angels and Demons, Into the Woods, The Lady In the Van, Dumbo, The Hitman’s Bodyguard, The Little Mermaid, Sound of Freedom. TV credits for arrangements and orchestration include Blue Planet, Planet Earth, Life, Frozen Planet, Gulliver's Travels, Merlin, Bleak House and Great Expectations.
Julian's versatility has also led him to work as an arranger for many leading artists including Sir Paul McCartney, Richard Ashcroft, Elvis Costello, Kasabian, Nigel Kennedy, Vanessa-Mae and Lesley Garrett. Perhaps most notably, Julian did the arrangement of "She" featured on the film Notting Hill, sung by Elvis Costello.
