Ijumdiya Dominic Wadzani (born September 29, 2004),[1][2] professionally known by his stage name Juiceslf (often stylized as JUICE), is a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter.[3] He rose to stardom with the release of the song "Rising Above", after signing a record deal with Steadee Records in 2021.[4][5] Which earned him his first chart entry on Nigeria TurnTable Top 50 single chart in 2021.
Early Life
Born and raised in Mubi, Nigeria, Juiceslf grew up in a challenging environment, where poverty and violence were a daily reality. Despite these challenges, he developed a passion for music at a young age and began writing and performing his own songs.
Career
Juiceslf's breakthrough came in 2021 when he released his first single, "Rising Above" which quickly gained popularity on social media and radio stations across Nigeria.[6] The song's socially conscious lyrics and infectious beat struck a chord with listeners, and it launched Juiceslf's career as a rapper and songwriter.[7][8][9]
