Jude Aravind Abraham is a writer, born in Ragama, Sri Lanka to Tamil Christian parents, educated in New Zealand, and residing in Israel. He grew up in Auckland, New Zealand, and attended the University of Auckland, where he received a Bachelor of Commerce. After residing in New Zealand for two decades, he permanently immigrated to Israel completing his conversion to Orthodox Judaism shortly thereafter. He is the first recorded Sri Lankan born convert to Judaism. Noted for his opinion pieces on a variety of platforms including the Times of Israel[1], Sefaria[2], Tel Aviv University[3][4], 888 Holdings[5], and others, he plies his time writing for a variety of publications on a range of topics. His written pieces cover a plethora of topics[6] including Israeli politics, Judaism, movies, music[7][8][9], entertainment, fashion, travel[10], sports, and startups[11].
