Joyra is a small village of 494 hectares in Kapasan Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Joyra depends on Kapasan, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 205.32% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Joyra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Joyra's pin code is 312205[4], and village code is 03632300. The area of Joyra is segregated as 205.32 hectares irrigated area, 59.03 hectares unirrigated, the 123.26 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 106.44 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kapasan and Chittorgarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
