Joshua Daniel Ashley Vale (born 5 December 1987) is a politician and businessman currently living in Norton-on-Derwent.

Biography

Joshua was born in Ealing and educated at Latymer Upper School before going on to study History of Art at the University of York (graduating in 2009) and an LLM at London South Bank University (2011). While studying he worked at The Drayton Court in Ealing - a pub and hotel that counts Ho Chi Minh among its previous staff members.

After graduating Joshua worked at various firms including Olswang and DH Law LLP where he was part of the team who won the Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year award in 2011..[1].

In 2019 Joshua co-founded M1 Property Ltd - a letting agency that specialises in renting property to unemployed and low income tenants and in October 2022 he was elected as a Councillor for Norton West Ward in Norton-on-Derwent[2][3]

In 2022 he was featured in a live cost of living debate on Channel 4 news in the UK[4]

In October 2023 Joshua was co-opted on to Malton town council where he now works as a local councillor[5]
