Josep Caritg i Arnó (May 12, 1841 – February 6, 1897) was a Spanish landowner, real estate broker and politician. Member of the Conservative Party, he was the mayor of Badalona twice in the last third of the 19th century, during the Bourbon Restoration.

He was born in Badalona in 1841 within a well-off family. The lands were used for the grapevines and after a few years, he started to produce his own wine. In parallel, he acted as a rustic and urban real estate broker, and promoted the construction of households on his lands in Badalona and Llinars del Vallès.[1]
Politically, he was part of the Conservative Party and was an important member of it at local level.
