Jorja Cadence is an Australian-Canadian actress, best known for her role as Cara Spader in the Paramount+ series Rabbit Hole[1] (2023).
Early Life
Born Jorja Cadence Roberta Brain, Cadence was raised in Byron Bay, a small town in Northern NSW, Australia. She attended high school at St. John’s College, Woodlawn and performed as a teenager in television commercials and local theatre.
Career
Cadence moved to Sydney, Australia and attended University of Technology, Sydney before relocating to Canada.
Her first lead role was in the 2017 indie horror movie The Heretics (2017 film)|The Heretics[2]. She subsequently went on to appear in several Canadian television series, including Murdoch Mysteries, Private Eyes and Children Ruin Everything. In 2022 she gained recognition for her role as Emma Stevenson in the Prime Video series Reacher[3]. She also had a key supporting role in Hallmark Channel’s television movie Romance in Style[4][5] and played Jennifer Grey’s daughter in Lifetime’s Gwen Shamblin: Starving for Salvation[6][7].
In March 2023, Cadence began recurring as Cara Spader on Paramount+ series Rabbit Hole[1], across from Kiefer Sutherland and Charles Dance. She also guest starred in season two of Netflix series Sex/Life.
Cadence joined the cast of Hulu series Letterkenny for the 2023 special episode “May 2-4”.
Personal Life
Cadence holds dual Australian Canadian citizenship and splits her time between Australia and North America.
