Jordan Alexandra (born 16 June 1993) is a British actor, model and artist, best known for playing Sunny West in Grantchester (2021), and for her forthcoming role as Guinevere in The Winter King – an historical fantasy fiction television series based on Bernard Cornwell’s novel series The Warlord Chronicles.

Early Life

Jordan Alexandra was born in North London. She is of mixed White British and Black Caribbean heritage. Her maternal grandparents are from Barbados and Jamaica.

She grew up in Berkshire and attended both Newlands Girls’ School and Sir William Borlase Grammar School. Between the ages of 11-13, she lived and was educated in Brazil. As such, she can speak fluent Portuguese.[1]

Career

Alexandra’s first acting credits were for shorts Deadly Threshold (2018), The Colour of Torment (2018)|The Colour of Torment (2018)and Lilmisscandy786 (2019). She made her television debut in 2020, where she played the part of a Beta Woman in Brave New World, and a Courtesan in Bridgerton.

Her film acting credits include Black Bits (2023), Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), Surprised by Oxford (2022), Boiling Point (2021), and A Tree Fell Today (2021).[2]

In October 2022 the Facebook page for upcoming sci-fi thriller film The Shift, it was announced that Alexandra was cast as Priya Nadir [3]

In February 2023 it was announced that Alexandra would be playing the role of Guinevere in the television series The Winter King[4] which will premiere 20th August 2023 on ITVX (UK) and MGM+ (US). [5]
