Joosri is a small village of 2760 hectares in Makrana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Joosri depends on Makrana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 282.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Joosri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Joosri's pin code is 341505[4], and village code is 01884400. The area of Joosri is segregated as 282 hectares irrigated area, 1953.73 hectares unirrigated, the 94 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 106 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Makrana and Nagaur to sell ghee and make their living.
