Joonda is a small village of 2581 hectares in Railmagra Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of , India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Joonda depends on RAJSAMAND, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 96.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Joonda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Joonda's pin code is 313328[4], and village code is 03027900. The area of Joonda is segregated as 96 hectares irrigated area, 888 hectares unirrigated, the 1336 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 261 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Rajsamand to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
