Jonathan Kirschner is an American psychologist and entrepreneur, known as the founder and CEO of AIIR Consulting.[1][2]
Early life and education
Kirschner was born in 1980 in St. Louis, Missouri. He graduated from New York University in 2005 with bachelors in Psychology and Religion. Later in 2010, he received his Doctorate in Clinical psychology from Widener University.[2]
Career
In 2009, Jonathan introduced a coaching method called AIIR (Assessment, Implementation, Integration, and Reinforcement). He combined traditional psychodynamic principles with modern cognitive-behavioral frameworks, resulting in a versatile approach to executive coaching.[1] Same year, he founded a leadership development company, AIIR Consulting.[3][1]
He often shares his insights through articles, blogs and presentations.[4][5][6][7] He co-authored chapters on coaching and technology in the Cambridge Handbook of Technology and Employee Behavior and Overcoming Bad Leadership published by Oxford University Press.[8][9]
Philanthropy
In 2019, Jonathan initiated The Elevate Project, a philanthropic initiative of AIIR Consulting that offers coaching to leadership teams of various organizations.[10] He also supports the Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society through his sponsorship of the charity hockey team, Team AIIRForce. The team raises funds to support the cancer patients.[11]
Personal Life
Jonathan has been married to Larah Kirschner and the couple has 4 children.[2]
Awards and Recognition
Jonathan Kirschner received the 2018 SCP Award for Early Career Innovation in Consulting Psychology for his contributions to the field of leadership development.[12]
