Joliyali is a small village of 1597 hectares in Jodhpur Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Joliyali depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Joliyali is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Joliyali's pin code is 342001[4], and village code is 01963700. The area of Joliyali is segregated as 1522.63 hectares unirrigated, the 44 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 30 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jodhpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
