Jolhapur is a small village of 443 hectares in Sagri Tehsil in Azamgarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jolhapur depends on KANDHARA PUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tank and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Jolhapur's pin code is 276135[4], and village code is 08610700. The area of Jolhapur is segregated as 271.2 hectares irrigated area, 38.68 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 408.88 hectare area not available for cultivation.
