Johny Timung is a former social activists based in Diphu, Karbi Anglong, in the Indian state of Assam.
Early life
Timung did his schooling from Langsoliet HS School. He continued his higher education from Diphu Government College, and later from AU Diphu Campus, where he twice participated and won in the student's union election.
Career
Social activist
As an activist, he was member of Karbi Language Development Board and was actively involved in development of Karbi language and acted as teacher of the same language.[1][2]
Politics
Timung became a member of BJP.
