John William Warner IV is an author, military historian, and media producer. He is the son of John Warner III (R-VA, KBE), former Secretary of the Navy and Chairman of the Armed Services Committee during the Vietnam War, and Catherine Mellon, peace activist, artist, mystic, and daughter of philanthropist and Office of Strategic Services WWII veteran Paul Mellon (KBE); Warner III later married prominent British-American actress Elizabeth Taylor, who then became stepmother to John William Warner IV[1].
Biography
John William Warner IV' was born in 1962 in Washington, DC. He grew up in the spotlight due to his high profile family. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 1986[2] with a degree in Russian history before continuing on to earn his graduate degree in art from Parsons School of Design. Between 1994 and 2002 Warner was a professional Grand American and American Le Mans Series race car driver[3]. He was a professional full time racer. A serious racing accident requiring a two year recovery led Warner to research the history of the sport, and in 2006 he produced a NASCAR history docuseries: American Stock the Golden Era of NASCAR[4]. After years of In 2018 Warner authored the first of his WWII historical novel series, Little Anton[5], and in 2021, the sequel Lion, Tiger, Bear. Warner is currently part of the Disclosure[6] Movement, which seeks to publicly and legally reveal covert military operations regarding Unidentified aerial phenomena.[7]
