Jon Paul Jordan II (born February 7, 2003) is an American professional Association soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Southern Methodist University.

Club Career

Youth

Jordan played youth soccer for Solar Soccer Club[1] Jon Paul (JP) was a key part of Solar SC's teams for seven years. He was credited with with unmatched work ethic, and IQ for the game that helped his team make an impressive run in the first ever MLS Next U19 National Championship. As JP completed his youth career, his college coach, Kevin Hudson, said, "We believe JP is one of the top defensive midfielders in 2021 class."[2]

College

JP was signed by SMU Mustangs men's soccer to join the team as a Freshman in August, 2021.[3] Jordan made his collegiate debut on August 26, 2021 against the eighth ranked Stanford University. In that game he made one shot on goal from midfield. During his first season with the team, he totaled 864 minutes.[4]

In January, 2023; Jordan was signed by Texas United. [1]
