John Lee Taggart is an award-winning writer, director and occasional actor from Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. He is perhaps best known for his work with a number of small rare disease charities through awareness projects such as the short film, Go Make Memories[1] (Carl Mason, 2019), Invisible Manners[2][3] (2021) with Billy Boyd[4], Isy Suttie and Weruche Opia, as well as the Sheila Reid narrated documentary short series, Invisible Interviews [5](2022-2023).

Aside from his charity orientated work[6], John has also worked on a number of comedy projects, including the dark comedy short Classmate (2022) and the mockumentary style report, The Seagull Siege of Sunderland (2023).
