Jodwara is a small village of 2749 hectares in Bhinmal Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jodwara depends on BHINMAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 198.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jodwara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jodwara's pin code is 343029[4], and village code is 02301300. The area of Jodwara is segregated as 198 hectares irrigated area, 2194 hectares unirrigated, the 124 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 233 hectare area not available for cultivation.
