Joanna Jensen (born May 1970[1]) is a British entrepreneur and founder[2] of natural and sustainable baby & child toiletries brand Childs Farm.

Career

Leaving school in 1988, started her career in London as an Estate Agent[3]. She founded Childs Farm in 2010[4]

In 2014, the Childs Farm brand secured its first national retail listing in the UK in high street health & beauty retailer Boots[5], and in Waitrose[6]. By 2019 Childs Farm had achieved distribution in all the UK retailers, including Boots UK and the big 4 grocers[7]. In 2018 Childs Farm was listed as a finalist in ‘ones to watch’ by Sunday Times Fast Track 100[8], and in 2019 was listed as the 9th fastest growing privately owned business in the UK by Sunday Times Fast Track 100[9].

The brand launched in Australia in 2018[10].

In July 2020, Jensen launched adult sensitive body care brand Farmologie[6][11].

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Childs Farm expanded its range of hand creams[12] to the market within 4 weeks[13]. During the pandemic, Childs Farm has donated almost £1 million worth of products to the NHS front line workers[14][15]

Personal life

Paralympic dressage rider Natasha Baker MBE[11] and Jensen own International Paralympic Dressage horse, Keystone Dawn Chorus (Lottie)[16][11][17].

In the past Jensen has advocated for better payment terms for small and medium-sized enterprises[18][19]
