Joan Cambon is a french composer, producer and sound designer, born in 1975. His compositions are made of acoustic and organic sounds, modified by electronic tools.

Career

Joan Cambon composed three solo albums, and five albums with the avant-rock cinematic project Arca, with Sylvain Chauveau on several labels such as Les Disques Du Soleil Et De L'Acier, Ici, d'ailleurs…, Novel Sounds.

He made more than 40 creations for theatre, dance, circus, opera (music, sound design, devices and instruments conception), with international artists Aurélien Bory, Kaori Ito, Pierre Rigal, Galin Stoev, Laurent Pelly, Julien Gosselin, Jean Bellorini and structures such as Paris Opera Ballet, the Chile National Ballet, the Festival d'Avignon, the Théâtre de la Ville in Paris, the Vidy-Lausanne Theatre, the théâtre de la Cité TNT, the Théâtre du Capitole Opera in Toulouse.

He also made sound installations, live cine-concerts for the Toulouse Cinémathèque (solo or with Jean-François Zygel[1]) and composed music for films and TV shows.
