Jo Yu-ri; born October 22, 2001), better known mononymously as Yuri, is a South Korean singer. She finished third in Mnet (TV channel) girl group survival show Produce 48 and debuted with Iz*One in 2018.

Career

2017–2019: Idol School, Produce 48, Iz*One

In July 2017, Jo participated in Mnet reality survival program Idol School (2017 TV series)|Idol School to compete with 40 other contestants for an opportunity to debut in a 9-member girl group, later revealed to be named Fromis 9. However, she was eliminated from the potential debut group in which she ranked 15th in final episode. Jo with Lee Sian, Bae Eunyeong and others joined Stone Music Entertainment as trainees afterward.

From June 15 to August 31, 2018, Jo represented Stone Music Entertainment alongside Jang Gyu-ri, Lee Si-an and Bae Eun-yeong on reality girl group survival show Produce 48. She eventually placed third and debuted with Iz*One. The group's debut extended play (EP) Color*Iz wwas released on October 29, 2018, with "La Vie en Rose" serving as its lead single.
