Jim Broderick (11 May 1927 - 25 June 2024) was an Irish playwright. He was born in Duniry, County Galway, and lived most of his life in Loughrea, County Galway. He was one of the founders of The Seumas O'Kelly Players in the mid-1990s. His four full-length plays all had their premiere in The Temperance Hall, Loughrea. In 2004, one of his plays - "A Woman For Mike" - was staged in An Taibhdhearc in Galway City.
