Jhoopel is a small village of 817 hectares in Banswara Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jhoopel depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 36.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Jhoopel is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Jhoopel's pin code is 327001[4], and village code is 03449100. The area of Jhoopel is segregated as 116 hectares irrigated area, 282 hectares unirrigated, the 61 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 120 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
