Jhoontha is a small village of 2843 hectares in Raipur Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jhoontha depends on Jaitaran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 1162.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Jhoontha is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jhoontha's pin code is 306304[4], and village code is 02401200. The area of Jhoontha is segregated as 2320.12 hectares irrigated area, 481.53 hectares unirrigated area.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaitaran and Pali to sell earthen pot and make their living.
