Jhilai is a small village of 2936 hectares in Niwai Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jhilai depends on Niwai, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 826.89% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jhilai is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Jhilai's pin code is 304025[4], and village code is 02625800. The area of Jhilai is segregated as 826.89 hectares irrigated area, 1331.48 hectares unirrigated, the 533.8 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 244.05 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Jhilai is a census village in the district of Tonk, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 5758 and has total administration over 1037 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Niwai and Tonk to sell earthen pot and make their living.
