Jher is a small village of 360 hectares in Bagidora Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jher depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and One spring. Jher is also near by One lake. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Jher's pin code is 327031[4], and village code is 03467100. The area of Jher is segregated as 71 hectares irrigated area, 137 hectares unirrigated, remaining 107 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Jher has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
