Jheera is a small village of 473 hectares in Indragarh Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jheera depends on INDRAGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 64.46% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jheera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jheera's pin code is 323613[3], and village code is 02735300. The area of Jheera is segregated as 185.48 hectares irrigated area, 46.84 hectares unirrigated, the 30.44 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 36.98 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Jheera is a census village in the district of Bundi, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 587 and has total administration over 116 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of INDRAGARH and Bundi to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
