Jharli is a small village of 2202 hectares in Sri Madhopur Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jharli depends on Khandela, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 455.32% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jharli is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Jharli's pin code is 332707[4], and village code is 01739300. The area of Jharli is segregated as 455.32 hectares irrigated area, 641.22 hectares unirrigated, the 418.01 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 628.05 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Khandela and Sikar to sell ghee and make their living.
