Jhariya is a small village of 3698 hectares in Churu Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jhariya depends on CHURU, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jhariya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Jhariya's pin code is 331001[4], and village code is 00625200. The area of Jhariya is segregated as 3500.78 hectares unirrigated, remaining 196.86 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Jhariya has One post office (Jharia B.O) and Eighty public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Jhariya is a census village in the district of Churu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 5070 and has total administration over 873 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Churu to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
