Jhariya is a small village of 3698 hectares in Churu Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jhariya depends on CHURU, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jhariya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Jhariya's pin code is 331001[4], and village code is 00625200. The area of Jhariya is segregated as 3500.78 hectares unirrigated, remaining 196.86 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The workforce is 1195 male, 535 female with 1135 (65.61%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 945 males and 190 females. 579 males and 115 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 127 male and 14 female agricultural labor. 595 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Churu to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
