Jhareda is a small village of 490 hectares in Lachhmangarh Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jhareda depends on ALWAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 91.73% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jhareda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jhareda's pin code is 301604[4], and village code is 00856800. The area of Jhareda is segregated as 122.31 hectares irrigated area, 247.41 hectares unirrigated, the 111.38 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 9.38 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
