Jhalon Ka Gara is a small village of 389 hectares in Garhi Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jhalon Ka Gara depends on Partapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Jhalon Ka Gara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jhalon Ka Gara's pin code is 327025[4], and village code is 03414000. The area of Jhalon Ka Gara is segregated as 149 hectares irrigated area, 142 hectares unirrigated, the 69 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 29 hectare area not available for cultivation.
