Jhalamaliya is a small village of 1052 hectares in Makrana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jhalamaliya depends on Makrana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 28.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jhalamaliya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Jhalamaliya's pin code is 341302[4], and village code is 01880600. The area of Jhalamaliya is segregated as 28 hectares irrigated area, 966.31 hectares unirrigated, remaining 58 hectare area not available for cultivation.
