Jhakoriya Modar is a small village of 210 hectares in Kushalgarh Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jhakoriya Modar depends on Kushalgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Jhakoriya Modar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Jhakoriya Modar's pin code is 327602[4], and village code is 03489900. The area of Jhakoriya Modar is segregated as 36 hectares irrigated area, 133 hectares unirrigated, the 14 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 27 hectare area not available for cultivation.
