Jhak is a small village of 1521 hectares in Bhinmal Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jhak depends on BHINMAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 740.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jhak is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Jhak's pin code is 307803[4], and village code is 02303200. The area of Jhak is segregated as 789 hectares irrigated area, 637.24 hectares unirrigated, the 59 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 36 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BHINMAL and Jalor to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
