Jhajharwa Kalan is a small village of 381 hectares in Bagidora Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jhajharwa Kalan depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jhajharwa Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Jhajharwa Kalan's pin code is 327601[4], and village code is 03483300. The area of Jhajharwa Kalan is segregated as 17 hectares irrigated area, 219 hectares unirrigated, the 30 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 115.34 hectare area not available for cultivation.
